Software update: Flexbeta FireTweaker XP 1.0 beta

Flexbeta has the first beta version of FireTweaker XP released† This piece of software has been developed to optimize Mozilla Firefox on the basis of twenty different tweaks. FireTweaker XP is available this server download and needs 143 kilobytes of your available data limit. It is unfortunately unknown what exactly has changed in this release, but according to this topic On the FireTweaker XP forum, the following three bugs have been fixed and one that still needs to be fixed:

  • [FIXED] Tweaks do not work on Microsoft Windows Server 2003 (Eventhough no errors are being generated).
  • [FIXED] The Tweaks might not function correctly on Windows 98 and Windows ME, since the profile paths are different.
  • [FIXED] The “Change Toolbar Background Image” tweak has not yet been implemented.
  • The Toolbar Background Image Tweak’s OpenFile Dialog does not function correctly.[break]Click on the image above for a larger version.
