Download Feedreader 3.08 beta

The folks at i-Systems have released a new development snapshot of Feedreader in the form of 3.08 beta made available. The beta version can be downloaded by clicking this link downloaded as an installation file. Feedreader is an RSS and Atom reader for Windows 2000 and above, made available under the GPL license. The program offers various options to adjust the layout to your own liking, as well as to display the data contained in the various feeds according to your own wishes. Feedreader is also able to apply filters to feeds, which is also known as a smart feed. Below you can read what has changed in Feedreader 3.08 beta compared to the previous update:

• Some bugs fixed
• Install bug fixed
• Reworked unreadcount calculation a little bit. By this we lower the possibility of wrong unreadcount calculation.
• Mark all feeds read – if you triggered it from “all news” or “unread news” and you had a lot of unread articles then unread count updating failed. Now this is fixed.
• New feature – News packages. Basically we are trying to extend feed offerings from default feeds to feeds that are different on any language. This means that english speakers receive their feeds, estonian speakers receive different feeds. Now only thing that is missing is feed packages in every language :).
• New feature – Database information. It shows you some statistics about database, also inactive feeds and problematic feeds.
• New feature – “Open link automatically” can be set globally.
