Software Update: Enpass 5.6.0

Version 5.6.0 of Enpass has been released. Enpass is a password manager for Windows, macOS, Linux and various mobile platforms. The program allows you to easily log in to websites and manage your passwords. For example, new passwords can be generated, let it know if a password is weak, old, or used more often. Data is stored encrypted locally, but syncing via services such as iCloud, Dropbox, Google Drive or OneDrive is also possible. Enpass is free to use on the desktop, only for the mobile client a one-time contribution is required if more than twenty passwords are stored. Since version 5.5.6, the following improvements have been made:

Improvements

  • Added Support for Firefox WebExtensions: We all know that the add-on SDK will be the past soon. Moving on with the Firefox, we’ll soon gonna come up with the WebExtension version of the Enpass extension that will work with this update. And yes, this update will not only work with the WebExtensions but the legacy add-ons as well.
  • Brushes away a bug that was stuck to Enpass in any of last releases where the clipboard was getting cleared even if it is disabled from security settings.
  • Other minor issues fixed.

  • Improved generic CSV/DSV import.

Fixes

  • Fixes an issue in import from 1Password .pif file where it was taking longer time to import the data.

  • Added import from 1Password .csv file.

Fixes

  • Some of you fine people were not able to import data from .1pif exported from 1Password. Now fixed.
  • Fixes an issue where the data copied from Enpass extension was not being cleared from clipboard after the specified time interval.
  • Squashed some other minor bugs.
