Software Update: dBpowerAMP Music Converter 13.5

Illustrate released release 13.5 of dBpowerAMP Music Converter on Wednesday. This audio editing program can rip audio CDs and convert music files to and from mp3, mp4, m4a, wma, Ogg Vorbis, aac, Monkey’s Audio, flac, alac, among others, while preserving mp3 tags. Furthermore, the MP3 tags can be customized and the program can be fully integrated into Windows Explorer, making it easy to invoke. The basic version, for ripping CDs and converting files, is free. In front of additional functionality must be paid. This release includes a new version of mp3 lame, because the old one generated corrupt mp3 files under certain circumstances.

Changes in release 13.5:

• mp3 Lame updated to 3.98.4 (3.98.3 had issues creating corrupted mp3 files at certain bitrates)
