What’s New

  • Added content filtering
  • Added wireless support
  • Added German language
  • Improved Samba support (home directories, permission checking, default shares)

  • Fixed various bugs

Note: DMZ support will be tested in the Office Beta. It will be available to Home Edition 2.1 at that time.[break]This version has not been made available as a separate download due to the integration of the Red Hat / Fedora kernel. Make sure ClarkConnect 2.0 is installed and perform the following steps to get version 2.1 beta:[/break]upgrade:

  • Change the version number listed in the /etc/release file (normally, we just provide a simple RPM that does this, but we don’t want too make the beta too easy to install!).
  • Run apt-get update
  • Run apt-get dist-upgrade
notice the dist-upgrade (not just ‘upgrade’)
  • if you want to add wireless support and the content filter:
    Run apt-get install cc-dansguardian cc-wireless
