Clarkconnect is a complete operating system that can turn a standard computer into a dedicated gateway and easy-to-use server. All the usual features are present, such as a firewall, an ‘intrusion detection’ system, an Apache web server with cgi, php and ssl support, a file server with support for ftp and Windows and Appleshare. Clarkconnect also includes a mail server with pop, imap and smtp, a built-in web proxy filter, a print server with support for Samba and of course dhcp and dns services. Point Clark Networks has released the second release candidate of Clarkconnect 4.3 with the following changes:
