Software Update: Canon Digital Photo Professional 1.5.0

Canon has released a new version of its photo editing program Digital Photo Professional. To install this program, the following applications must already be installed on the system: File Viewer Utility versions 1.1, 1.2 or 1.3, EOS Viewer Utility 1.0 or 1.1, Digital Photo Professional 1.0 or 1.1 and RAW Image Task 1.2. The changelog shows the following changes:

Added functions.

• Trimming function.
• CMYK simulation function.
• Addition of folder handling functions to the main window Tree View Area.
• Printer profile setting function.
• Resize setting function when images are saved.
• PDF instruction manual linking function.
• Addition of ICC Profile to JPEG images.
• Sharpness setting for TIFF images.

Modified functions.

• Multiple image transfer to retouching software.
• Tone curve in the RAW image adjustment tool palette changed to a log display.
