BurnAware Technologies has released a new version of its eponymous CD and DVD burning program with version number 2.4.6. BurnAware is available in three flavors: Free, Home and Professional. Free can be used without license costs, but does have some limits. Home is intended for home use and can perform almost all functions. Finally, the Professional version can control several burners; this version may be used in a commercial environment. The corresponding list of changes looks like this:

  • Fixed problem with displaying field for temporary folder.
  • Fixed bug with log window.
  • Updated installer.

Version 2.4.4:

  • Added option to specify temporary folder for copying.

  • Improved 64-bit systems compatibility.
  • Updated installer, help and language files.
  • Fixed possible freeze while preparing image.
  • Fixed bug with saving DVD to temporary image, while copying.

  • Improved Windows 7 compatibility.
  • Modified method of gathering information from disc.
  • Fixed bug with launch Data compilation from command line.
  • Fixed possible freeze after burning DVD-Video.
