Software update: Apple Boot Camp 1.4 beta

Apple recently released a new beta version of Boot Camp put online. This time it concerns version 1.4 beta, which can be downloaded by clicking this link as 347MB heavy dmg file can be downloaded. Using Boot Camp it is possible to install and boot Windows XP or Windows Vista on an Intel-based Mac. The software creates a separate partition on the hard drive where one of the two operating systems is installed. A detailed description of exactly how Boot Camp works can be read in this article. New in Boot Camp 1.4 beta include support for the keyboard backlight on the MacBook Pro and the ability to pair the Apple Remote with Mac computers. In addition, the video card drivers have been updated and the Boot Camp driver installer has been overhauled. This is the same changelog as the previous beta version:
