Software Update: AnyDVD 7.4.4.0

SlySoft has released version 7.4.4.0 of AnyDVD. This program runs in the background in Windows and is able to bypass the region and copy protection of DVD, HD DVD and Blu-ray discs on the fly. AnyDVD is also able to skip mandatory sections, such as copyright and FBI warnings. Finally, the speed of the drive can be adjusted to reduce the noise produced during playback. The price of a license depends on the chosen duration and starts at 41 euros. The following changes and improvements have been made in this release:

• New (Blu-ray): Support for new discs
• New (Blu-ray): Ability to watch discs on a PC which only show a black screen without AnyDVD. A known disc with this problem is the French version of “Les Desmoiselles de Rochefort”
• New (Blu-ray): Added warning to the status window, if a disc will not play on a PC without AnyDVD running
• New (Blu-ray): Added workaround for authoring bug of some discs, eg “All is Lost”, Canada
