Software Update: AnyDesk 7.0.9

Version 7.0.9 of AnyDesk for Windows has been released. With this program, which is being developed by former TeamViewer employees, another computer can be taken over to manage it remotely. The program is available for Windows, Linux, FreeBSD, macOS, Android and iOS, although not every platform has the same version number. It’s free for home use; for commercial use begin the Prices at ten dollars a month. It does not matter how many updates are released in the meantime. The changelog for this release looks like this:

  • Fixed issue that disabled privacy mode when switching backend accounts
  • File Transfer Sessions now work with manually typed UA passwords
  • Fixed Windows XP GUI issues
  • Fixed possible crash when editing Address book tags
  • Fixed connection issue when alternative screen background is active on a Windows 7 backend
  • Fixed wrong look of accept window when a session is reconnected

  • Improved wordings in some translations
  • Improved Drag & Drop behavior in Address Book

AnyDesk 6.5.1 (macOS)

New features

  • Option to prevent display sleep during outgoing sessions
  • MDM configuration is enabled for standard client
  • Added button to security settings that removes all stored previous session profiles
  • Added separate permissions for file and text transfer via clipboard to the frontend
  • Added “Recent apps” button support for Android connections

Fixed bugs

  • Layout issue in accept window
  • Clipboard file transfer button in accept window

  • Improved performance for high-resolution displays
  • Improved customization options for custom client and MDM
