Software update: AM-DeadLink 4.1
The final release of version 4.1 of AM-DeadLink was released on Wednesday. With this program, the bookmarks of Internet Explorer, Opera, Google Chrome and Mozilla Firefox can be easily managed and organized. Not only can the program inventory ‘dead’ links, it can also permanently store the favicons that some websites use. That makes it a lot easier to find a bookmark in a long list. The main improvement in version 4.1 is support for version 3.x of Mozilla Firefox. Below is the full list of changes since version 4.0:
Added:
- Firefox 3.x supported
- Find dead links in HTML files
- Command line parameters to check HTML files (for example to embed AM-DeadLink into a HTML editor)
- Bookmarks with errors/warnings are displayed in red/blue
Fixed:
- IE FavIcons did not work when the FavIcon path contained special characters
- Internal browser could display script errors
- Various changes and improvements
