Software update: Adobe Acrobat/Reader 9.1.3

Adobe has released new updates for its Adobe Acrobat Reader and Standard, Professional, and Pro Extended products. For a brief overview of the differences between Acrobat and Reader, we refer you to this page. This update fixes the version number to 9.1.3 for the various releases. A number of potential security vulnerabilities have been patched. The abbreviated announcement looks like this:

Adobe Reader and Acrobat 9.1.3 is out-of-cycle security update that address a critical security vulnerability (please see: http://www.adobe.com/go/apsb09-10/) while providing more stability. Adobe always recommends that you install the latest updates.

Since Adobe Reader and Acrobat 9.1.3 are out-of-cycle security updates, care should be taken with Administrative Install Points (AIP). If this update is to be installed via an AIP, please make sure a copy of the AIP based on the regular quarterly release is archived. This copy can then be used to create a new AIP for future quarterly updates (please see http://kb2.adobe.com/cps/498/cpsid_49880.html for more details on AIP installations)
