Download AC3filter 1.01a RC1

AC3Filter is a DirectShow filter that allows to play AC3, DTS, LPCM and MPEG1 audio from AVI and MPEG2 files. After a long time, the developers behind this piece of software have finally released an update for version 0.70b. The new jersey number is 1.01a Release Candidate 1 and has the following changes:

what’s new:

• AC3/DTS/LPCM/MPEG Audio layer I/II decoding support
• AVI/AC3 & AVI/DTS support
• Bass redirection crossover frequency
• AC3/DTS/MPEG Audio SPDIF pass-through
• Real-time AC3 encoding for multichannel SPDIF output
• full MatrixMixer replacement (can be used with any other audio stream too)
• equalizer was removed but it will be back, just want to test it before release…
