Sony is giving its tool to share images from games on a PS4, Sharefactory, an update that adds, among other things, the possibility to create animated gifs. Users can also create photo collages from screenshots.

The animated gifs can be up to ten seconds long, Sony says. The images come from the Capture Gallery or from existing Sharefactory projects. The animated gifs run automatically and users can quickly post the animated images to Twitter via Sharefactory.

In addition, the update also gives the tool the ability to automatically create photo collages based on screenshots. It is also possible to zoom in on gameplay videos, there are new troll stickers and Sony has added a font for internet memes.

Sharefactory came out in 2014. It is a video editor that allows users to add special effects, commentary, music and picture in picture with the PlayStation camera to their videos. The update comes out on Wednesday and is compatible with all PS4 models, including the new PS4 Pro.
