A high-end TV in the Qled series from Samsung has appeared on the American website of Amazon, which will be launched in 2018. This Q9N with 65″ screen is to replace last year’s Q9F and seems to replace the edge-lit backlight with full array local dimming.

The television is already pictured on Amazon.com, including certain specifications and a price. The Qled model, which still uses an LCD with a quantum dot layer, will cost $ 3,799 in the United States. That’s the price for the 65″ model; the 75″ variant will likely cost $5999. The device will also have access to the existing One Connect Box, with which the internal electronics of the TV and the connection ports are available separately from the TV.

The device has a 4k resolution and a refresh rate of 240Hz. Samsung talks about ‘Full Array LED’, which suggests that there seems to be full array local dimming, which should make the contrast of the television better than the previous 2017 models. It is not clear exactly how many dimming zones the television has.

Samsung will also release the lower-ranked Q8N, Q7N and Q6N televisions. More details will be announced shortly when Samsung officially announces the Qled TVs for 2018.
