Samsung releases Health app for this year’s TVs

Samsung has released its Health service for its TVs released this year. The Health app allows users to track health data and watch fitness and meditation instructional videos.

Samsung does not state whether the service will be available only in certain countries or worldwide. Family members can create their own profile per person and receive recommendations for instructional videos based on that, according to the manufacturer. There are approximately 250 videos available at release, including Calm, obé fitness, barre3, Echelon, Fitplan, and Jillian Michaels Fitness.

Samsung Health has been an app on smartphones from the manufacturer for years and it can track health data as a number of steps based on sensor data. The app is also available on watches from the South Korean manufacturer.
