Samsung is said to be working on the Galaxy Book Go, a Windows 10 laptop with Qualcomm Snapdragon 8cx Gen X soc. That soc has not yet been announced. The laptop should be released in three months, just like the Galaxy Book Pro laptops.

The information comes from slides that WalkingCat publishes. The twitterer has often shown that he has information about unannounced Samsung products. The Galaxy Book Go has a 14″ screen with full HD resolution. The soc is a Snapdragon 8cx Gen X; that variant does not yet exist. So far, an 8xc and an almost equal 8xc Gen 2.

According to the slide, the Gen X is equipped with a processor that does 10 percent better in PC Mark10, while the score in 3D Mark is about 40 percent higher than the previous generation 8cx. The laptop has 8GB of lpddr4x memory and 256GB of UFS storage. There will also be a cheaper variant with Snapdragon 7c-soc, less memory and less storage.

The Galaxy Book Pro comes in two variants, presumably with 13.3″ and 15.6″ screens. Compared to the predecessor Galaxy Book Ion, the Pro models now have an OLED screen, with the same full-HD resolution. The processor is an Intel Tiger Lake CPU, a Core i3, i5 or i7, with integrated graphics or an external Nvidia MX450.

The laptops are lighter and thinner than the previous models: the small comes in at 11.2mm and 888g, the large at 11.7mm and 1072g. There is no data on the battery it contains. According to WalkingCat, all models will be released in May and will run on Windows 10. Samsung has not yet responded to the appearance of the slides.
