Rumor: Samsung Galaxy Z Fold5 has 108Mp camera and is larger than predecessor
The expected Samsung Galaxy Z Fold5 may get a 108-megapixel camera (f/1.7), a 64-megapixel telephoto camera and a 12-megapixel ultra-wide-angle camera. In addition, the foldable device would be larger and heavier than its predecessor.
NotebookCheck reports based on the above information Vietnamese news site The Pixel. The next generation of Samsung’s foldable smartphone is also said to have a 7.6″ display with a resolution of 1768×2208 pixels. The current Z Fold4 also has a 7.6″ display, but with a resolution of 1812×2176 pixels. The device would be equipped with Gorilla Glass Victus. There is a lack of clarity about the SOC present. It may be a Snapdragon 8 Gen 2 or 8 Plus Gen 2, but there is also talk of a Snapdragon 985.
The Galaxy Z Fold5 would have dimensions of 158.5×67.5mm when folded, which was still 155.1×67.1mm with the Z Fold4. When the device is unfolded, it measures 158.5×128.5mm, compared to the 155.1×130.1mm of the predecessor. In addition, the Galaxy Z Fold5 would no longer have a visible fold in the unfolded state. The device may also be 2mm thicker than the predecessor and 12 grams heavier. This would include the possible addition of a slot for the S Pen, Samsung’s stylus.
