The Samsung Galaxy S10 + might appear in a variant with 5g. The South Korean manufacturer is working on those versions, according to information that XDA-Developers got from the Android Pie update for the existing S9 +.

XDA-Developers found a folder containing xml files that the have names of the possible models of the Galaxy S10. This involves four variants; the Beyond0, Beyond1 and Beyond2. The latter is available in a 4g version and in a variant with 5g. That would come in the versions with Exynos and Snapdragon-socs.

The site speculates that the Beyond2 is the most expensive version of the Galaxy S10, with rumors a 6.44 “screen and three cameras at the rear. It is unknown on which bands and frequencies the S10 5g would be supported.

The find is the first concrete indication that smartphones will be able to get 5g support from next spring, and users in the Benelux have not got anything for the time being. Networks will go live at the earliest in two years, though it may take longer.

Samsung has not yet published anything about the Galaxy S10, and so far it has been releasing its Galaxy S aircraft in spring.  Samsung Galaxy S9 Preview
