Rumor: Intel to release Raptor Lake Refresh desktop processors on October 17

Intel may release its fourteenth generation Core desktop processors on October 17. Sources report this to the usually well-informed VideoCardz. These CPUs are a refresh of Intel’s current Raptor Lake series, which was released last year.

Sources report to VideoCardz that Intel will release the Raptor Lake Refresh processors on Tuesday, October 17. According to that medium, the first reviews will appear on the same date. Intel has also imposed an ‘ad embargo’ for October 16. Retailers will probably be allowed to accept preorders for the processors from then on.

Intel will initially release six processors, VideoCardz claims: the Core i9-14900K, Core i7-14700K, Core i5-14600K and their respective KF variants without integrated GPU.
