Feral Interactive will release Rome: Total War for Android next week. The developer supports a limited number of mainly high-end smartphones. The game costs 10.99 euros once and has no in-game purchases.

The release of Rome: Total War comes two years after the version for iOS. Feral reports in its list of supported smartphones from the end of 2015 and later. The oldest on the list appears to be the Nexus 6P, along with Sony’s Xperia Z5. There are also models missing from the list that should be able to support the game, such as the Sony Xperia XZ3 and XZ2, or the OnePlus6. Feral reports that devices with a Snapdragon 810, MediaTek Helio P20, Huawei HiSilicon Kirin 950 or Samsung Exynos 8890 and with at least a RAM of 3GB should be able to run the game.

Feral had previously announced that the release was coming this month, but didn’t say when it would be and how much the game would cost. The fourteen-year-old game costs 10.99 euros in a one-time purchase, without loot boxes or in-game purchases. That is in line with the version for iOS, which came out two years ago. The game will appear in the Google Play Store.
