Resident Evil 4 remake has sold almost 6.5 million copies

Capcom has sold nearly 6.5 million copies of Resident Evil 4 since its release in March 2023. Within two days of release, the remake of the 2005 survival horror game of the same name had already sold 3 million copies.

Capcom reports a significant increase in sales between October and November of 2023. Approximately 1 million copies of Resident Evil 4 are said to have been sold during that period. A Gold Edition of Resident Evil 4 will be released on February 9. In addition to the base game, this version contains the Separate Ways DLC and other bonuses.

The game is available for PlayStation 5, PlayStation 4, Xbox Series X/S, PC and since December also for Mac, iPhone and iPad. There is also a VR mode available for the PlayStation VR2 headset.
