Renders show Google Pixel 6a with smaller screen and Pixel 6-esque design

Well-known leaker OnLeaks has published renders of a Google Pixel 6a smartphone. The design of the phone resembles that of the regular Pixel 6. The Pixel 6a variant would have a smaller 6.2 “screen. It is not known when the phone will be released.

The upcoming Google Pixel 6a is very similar to the larger Pixel 6 and Pixel 6 Pro, according to renders that OnLeaks and 91mobiles published together. The phone will have a similar ‘camera strip’, in which two sensors and a flash are incorporated. The Pixel 6a also gets a glass back with a two-tone finish, just like the current Pixel 6 devices.

According to OnLeaks and 91mobiles, the Google Pixel 6a will have a 6.2-inch AMOLED display, compared to a 6.4-inch display in the Pixel 6 and a 6.7-inch display in the Pixel 6 Pro. dimensions of 152.2×71.8×8.7mm, with a thickness of 10.4mm when the camera strip is included. The right side houses the volume buttons and the power button and at the bottom is a USB-C connection. on the left side of the Pixel 6a.

There are still few technical details about the Pixel 6a known. For example, it is not known which soc the smartphone has. The larger Pixel 6 and Pixel 6 Pro have a Google Tensor chip. 91mobiles speculates that the Pixel 6a could get a Tensor Lite or a Qualcomm Snapdragon 778G chip, but that’s not confirmed yet.

The phone may have 6 or 8 GB of memory and up to 128 GB of storage. The primary camera may use a Samsung Isocell GN1 camera sensor with 50-megapixel resolution, which is also used in the higher-ranking Pixel devices. It is unknown when the Google Pixel 6a will be released or what it will cost.
