Renders have appeared showing the design and details of the cameras of the Samsung Galaxy A73. The design is largely similar to that of the current Galaxy A72. According to previous information, the device will have a 6.7 “OLED screen with a 120Hz refresh rate.

One of the renders that 91Mobiles publishes is an explanation of which parts are visible. It states that the phone will have a primary 64-megapixel camera with optical image stabilization, assisted by a 12-megapixel ultra-wide-angle camera and a macro-lens camera with a 5-megapixel sensor. The fourth lens is to sense depth for portrait photos. According to the render, there is a 32-megapixel camera on the front.

That information contradicts previous information from the usually reliable OnLeaks, which claimed in December that the A73 will have a 108-megapixel camera. The design of the renders from both sources does match, making it obvious that OnLeaks relied on cad renders of the device. The housing would be 16.4×7.6cm in size and have a maximum thickness of 9.3mm at the camera bump. Because CAD renders only show elements on the outside, it’s unclear how reliable the rest of OnLeaks’ information is, such as Qualcomm’s Snapdragon 750G soc that the phone would have.

Samsung usually announces its first series of midrange phones in March or April. With that, the release of the A73 would probably be close. The Galaxy A53 would appear at the end of March. While most of the attention is usually focused on Galaxy S models, analysts estimate that Samsung is selling more of its Galaxy A models.
