The renders and specifications of the Samsung Galaxy Watch 3 models have been put online by WinFuture. The German site regularly publishes details about products not yet presented. According to the leaked information, the watches will get a Samsung Exyos 9110-soc, which Samsung has used in smartwatches before. The dual-core soc is combined with 1GB ram and 8GB flash memory. There will be variants with LTE support and versions that only have WiFi.

According to the datasheet, the Galaxy Watch 3 watches are waterproof by the ip68 rating. The 41mm model has a 247mAh battery and the 45mm version has a 340mAh battery capacity. The watches charge wirelessly via a dock and Samsung claims that the watches last up to 56 hours on a charge.

Reportedly, the watches will get 39 different modes for movement and sports track. The watches can also record statistics about users’ sleep, including details about REM sleep. Furthermore, the watches could make an electrocardiogram.

The large model has a 1.4 “display and the small version has a 1.2” display. In both cases it concerns OLED screens with a resolution of 360×360 pixels. It is not yet clear what the Galaxy Watch 3 watches will cost. Samsung will present the swartwatches on August 5, along with the Galaxy Note 20 Ultra, the Galaxy Z Fold 2 and Galaxy Tab S7 and S7 +.

The new smartwatches have already come into the hands of a number of YouTubers. The video platform contains hands-ons and unboxing videos. Both videos show the 41mm version of the Samsung Galaxy Watch 3.
