Nintendo has delayed the release of Advance Wars 1+2: Re-Boot Camp for the Switch. The Japanese company is doing this because of “current events.” Nintendo is probably referring to the war in Ukraine.

Advance Wars 1+2: Re-Boot Camp was initially set to release on April 8. While Nintendo doesn’t specifically mention the war in Ukraine, that’s probably why the game’s release is being pushed back. No new release date has been announced yet. Nintendo recommends on Twitter to keep an eye on its official channels for updates.

This is the second time that Advance Wars 1+2: Re-Boot Camp has been delayed. It was originally scheduled to release on December 3, before being pushed back to this spring.

Advance Wars 1+2: Re-Boot Camp is a bundled remake of the two Advance Wars games, originally released on the Game Boy Advance. Mission objectives range from taking cities, exterminating the enemy or protecting or destroying special buildings or units.
