Realme has announced a range of magnetic accessories and wireless chargers, including the MagDart, a 50W magnetic charger for at least the Realme Flash smartphone. A 3.9mm thick magnetic 15W charger also appears.

The MagDart is so far the first wireless and magnetic charger announced for an Android phone. The MagDart must fully charge a 4500mAh battery in 54 minutes. The charger works similar to, for example, the MagSafe from Apple. The charger clamps onto the back of the phone with magnets and then charges the phone wirelessly. The MagDart is equipped with a fan to ensure that the charger does not overheat.

The announcement of the MagDart was already leaked a week ago, but it was not yet known that the charger could charge up to 50W. The MagDart can charge wirelessly, but also wired via Realme’s 65W SuperDart, the same charging technology behind OPPO’s SuperVOOC and OnePlus’ Warp Charge 65.

In addition to the 50W MagDart, Realme comes with a 3.9mm round wireless 15W charger that should charge a 4500mAh battery in 90 minutes. This charger is considerably thinner than its big brother. Realme also comes with a range of magnetic accessories, including a magnetic power bank that is similar to Apple’s MagSafe Battery Pack, but can also be used as a dock and phone stand.

In addition to the power bank, Realme releases a ring lamp, the MagDart Beauty Light, which is powered by the reverse charging function of a telephone, with which, for example, earplugs can also be charged. Furthermore, the MagDart appears, a case for three credit cards, which is equipped with a kickstand.

The MagDart charger was initially created for the upcoming Realme Flash smartphone. Realme does release a MagDart-compatible case for the Realme GT. It is still unknown whether the charger also works on other phones that support wireless charging. Also, Realme has not yet announced a price and sale date for the chargers and accessories.
