OnePlus has released a beta of OxygenOS based on Android 11 for its Nord device. The beta version can be installed by all interested parties. There is a Global Build and a version specific for Europe will follow shortly.
The instructions and files to install the beta are on the OnePlus forum. Currently there are two builds available: Global and India. The Europe version will follow soon, according to OnePlus. The OxygenOS 11 beta for the Nord includes the upgrade to Android 11 and a redesigned interface. Furthermore, the manufacturer promises better stability with third-party apps and an ‘improved user experience’.
OnePlus announced Monday that devices from the OnePlus 6 and 6T will receive upgrades to Android 11. The company said a beta for the OnePlus Nord would follow soon and that promise has now been fulfilled. It is not yet known when the final version of Android 11 for the Nord will appear.
