OnLeaks has published renders and dimensions of the Samsung Galaxy A55. Unlike its predecessor, this phone reportedly has flat sides and a protrusion where the volume and power buttons are located.

OnLeaks made the renders with MySmartPrice. The Samsung Galaxy A55 appears to differ little from the A54. Both have a camera hole in the front and three separate cameras on the back. As with its predecessor, the SIM tray is located at the top of the device and the volume and power buttons are located on the right frame. The difference is that there are now curves where those buttons are. This was also visible on renders of the Samsung Galaxy A35.

According to OnLeaks and MySmartPrice, the A55 will have dimensions of 161.1 x 77.3 x 8.2 millimeters, although the width at the location of the protrusion is 77.9 millimeters. This makes the phone slightly longer and wider than the A54, which has dimensions of 158.3 x 76.7 x 8.2 millimeters. The 120Hz screen, with a diagonal of 6.5 inches, is 0.1 inches larger than that of its predecessor.

Based on previous rumors, the Samsung Galaxy A55 will have an unannounced Exynos 1480 chipset with an AMD GPU. The C3 certification also showed that the device supports 25W fast charging. The device will reportedly have a 50-megapixel main camera, just like the A54.

It is not yet clear when the phone should appear. OnLeaks and MySmartprice state that a global release will take place ‘soon’. The price is also not yet known. The A54 was released last March for 489 euros.
