Oddworld: Stranger’s Wrath is coming to Nintendo Switch

Oddworld: Stranger’s Wrath is coming to Nintendo Switch. That makes the Oddworld account on Twitter known. It is not yet clear when the platform game will appear. The game first came out on the Xbox in 2005 and was also slated to come to the Wii U.

In a short tweet let Oddworld know that Stranger’s Wrath is coming to Switch. The game will be playable next week for visitors to the UK EGX trade show. Unlike other Oddworld games, Stranger’s Wrath is not a sidescroller, but a 3d platformer.

It is not clear which version of Oddworld: Stranger’s Wrath will come to Nintendo Switch. The game originally came out in 2005 for the Xbox. In 2010, the game also appeared on Steam and in December 2011, an HD version was released for the PlayStation 3. A year later, the game also came out for the PlayStation Vita.

A mobile version of the game for Android and iOS was released in 2014. A year earlier, a version for the Wii U had also been announced, but it never came out. A version for the Ouya console was released in 2015.
