NZXT has announced the Kraken M22. The all-in-one small radiator water cooler is cheaper than the X-series models, but also features RGB LEDs in the pump. Furthermore, NZXT comes with the Kraken X72, a large model with 394mm radiator.

According to NZXT, the Kraken M22 is made to the same quality standard as the water coolers in the Kraken X series and uses the same materials. The lower price is due to the omission of functionality; for example, the M22 does not have a built-in fan controller or sensor to measure the temperature of the coolant. To control the fan, users can use pwm headers from the motherboard, or an external fan controller. The NZXT software does not transmit the temperature of the coolant when using the M22, but it does show the CPU temperature and the rotational speed of the pump.

The Kraken M22 has a suggested retail price of 99.90 euros and is equipped with a radiator with dimensions of 152x120x32mm. It has a NZXT Aer P120 fan on it. The radiator of the Kraken M22 is therefore also slightly smaller than that of the Kraken X42. That is the cheapest model from the X-series, with a price of about 121 euros and a radiator of 175x143x30mm with a 140mm fan on top.

NZXT also releases the Kraken X72. That’s the largest model in the X-series to date, with a 394x120x27mm radiator with three 120mm fans mounted on it. The X72 has a suggested retail price of 199.90 euros and should be available in mid-March.
