Nintendo has announced the second batch of tracks coming to the paid Mario Kart 8 Deluxe Booster Course Pass. Eight new tracks are coming to the Nintendo Switch game on August 4, including a completely new track.

Nintendo releases the eight circuits as two cups of four circuits each. Many of the tracks are from old Mario Kart games. Classics such as Mushroom Gorge from Mario Kart Wii, Waluigi Pinball from Mario Kart DS and Mario Circuit 3 from Super Mario Kart for the SNES are coming to the kart game. Nintendo is also bringing two tracks from Mario Kart Tour and a track from Mario Kart 64. With Sky-High Sundae, the game also gets a completely new track.

Nintendo previously announced the Booster Course Expansion Pass for Mario Kart 8 Deluxe. It is a paid DLC package with 48 extra circuits, which the Japanese game giant makes available spread over six ‘waves’. The first batch of eight tracks became available in February and included Coconut Mall from Mario Kart Wii, Tokyo Blur from Mario Kart Tour and Choco Mountain from Mario Kart 64.

The Booster Course Pass costs 25 euros and is also included in the Nintendo Switch Online + Expansion Pack subscription. Four more ‘waves’ with eight circuits each will appear in the near future.
