Nintendo is going to make SNES games available through its Switch Online service. The first twenty games for paying subscribers will be released on Wednesday. There will also be a wireless controller that resembles the old SNES controller.

The list of twenty games includes Super Mario World, Super Metroid, Star Fox, Kirby’s Dream Land 3, Pilotwings, F-Zero and The Legend of Zelda: A Link to the Past. The SNES games are accessible to members of the Switch Online subscription, which costs 4 euros per month or 20 euros per year. Previously, NES games were available through this subscription.

Nintendo is also coming with a wireless SNES controller. It can only be purchased by paying subscribers. The controllers will cost 30 dollars each, presumably 30 euros. Customers may purchase up to four. It is not yet known when the SNES controllers will be released.

Nintendo announced the SNES games and controller during an Instant broadcast. It also announced the arrival of a Switch version of Overwatch and more information about Pokémon Sword and Shield. Switch versions of Doom 64, Divinity: Original Sin 2, Trials of Mana, Star Wars: Jedi Knight II: Jedi Outcast and Vampyr have also been announced.
