Nintendo Signs Former Executive Producer Gearbox And Disney Infinity

Nintendo’s US division has hired John Vignocchi to join the team responsible for developer and publisher relations. Vignocchi previously worked at Gearbox and was an executive producer for Disney Infinity.

John Vignocchi announced the news himself on Friday via his Twitter account, after he left Gearbox a few days ago. He was only employed by that company, which is responsible for the Borderlands games, for only seven months.

Between 2013 and 2016, John Vignocchi served as an executive producer for Disney Infinity, the collectible character action-adventure franchise that Disney Interactive has since discontinued. Between 2012 and 2016, Vignocchi also served as vice president of production at Disney Interactive. Vignocchi will join Nintendo of America under Vice President Doug Bowser.
