Augmented reality game Harry Potter: Wizards Unite will not be released this year, but will be postponed until next year. The game is made by Niantic in collaboration with Warner Bros.

The delay appears from a short trailer that the makers have put online. The video is on YouTube and on the official website of the game, which has received an update. Niantic and Warner Bros. do not give a substantive explanation about the postponement. The trailer does not show actual gameplay.

The game was announced in 2017 and would be released in 2018. Later Niantic clarified that the game would appear in the second half of 2018. The new trailer shows that this is no longer the case. When the game comes out in 2019, it is not yet clear.
