Netflix thriller Pine Gap dives into the world of espionage
The new 6-part Australian Netflix series Pine Gap takes place in the eponymous town of Pine Gap (see below) on a secret American-Australian base where spies from both countries jointly monitor the world.
The Pine Gap series is a fictional incident in which an American warship enters the South China Sea. Meanwhile, a still unknown opponent shoots a passenger plane out of the sky. The teams from both countries must work closely together, but there will be cracks in the alliance along the way and spies who have to cooperate with each other will also start to work against each other.
