Nanoleaf shows smart outdoor lighting during the CES trade fair in Las Vegas. The company comes with Smart Multicolor Outdoor String Lights and Permanent Outdoor Lights, both of which have RGB LEDs and offer Matter support.

The Outdoor String Lights and Permanent Outdoor Lights are the first Nanoleaf lighting products suitable for outdoor use, also writes The Verge. The Outdoor String Lights are string lights that users can hang in the garden or on a balcony, for example. The Permant Outdoor Lights are individual lights that are permanently attached to the user’s home. An example from Nanoleaf shows those permanent lights under the roof of a house.

The two Nanoleaf outdoor lamps are both compatible with the universal Matter smart home standard. This allows them to work with the smart home platforms of various companies, including Apple HomeKit, Google Home, Amazon Alexa and Samsung SmartThings. They are also compatible with the Nanoleaf app, via WiFi and Bluetooth.

Nanoleaf also showed off a modular Skylight ceiling lamp at CES, which should be available later this month. A set with six modules costs 489.96 euros on the Nanoleaf website. The company does not share recommended prices or release dates for the outdoor lighting.
