MSI has announced low-profile versions of the Nvidia Geforce GTX 1050 and 1050 Ti. The cards have two fans with a diameter of 50 mm and do not require additional power cables.
The video cards have the same specifications as the reference designs from Nvidia. The GTX 1050 runs at a clock speed of 1354MHz with a boost speed to 1455MHz. The Ti version has a speed of 1290MHz with a turbo of 1392MHz. The cards have 2GB and 4GB RAM respectively. Displays can be connected with displayport 1.4, hdmi 2.0 and dual-link dvi-d cables.
On its website, MSI indicates that a low-profile bracket can optionally be used. This bracket is included with the card. MSI has not yet disclosed pricing and delivery dates. Other 1050 Ti cards from the brand are currently available in the Pricewatch from about $160 and the 1050 from about $150.
Update: Contrary to what was mentioned earlier, MSI does provide a low-profile bracket.
