Capcom has announced that the PC port of the game Monster Hunter: World will be released on August 9. This means that the PC version of the game already released on consoles will be released earlier than expected; earlier the autumn of this year was mentioned as the release period.

The PC version of Monster Hunter: World will be released on Steam on August 9. It is the first time that a Monster Hunter game has been released for PC. The system requirements have been announced on the Steam page, among other things. A system with at least 8GB of RAM is required and Capcom recommends players use an Nvidia Geforce GTX 1060 or AMD Radeon RX 570 in combination with an Intel Core i7 3770, Intel Core i3 8350 or an AMD Ryzen 5 1500X.

Monster Hunter World is an RPG in which players hunt for monsters and thus improve their skills. Players can create and upgrade weapons and equipment themselves, and the environment can be used in a variety of ways when battling monsters.

The game was released earlier this year on the PlayStation 4 and Xbox One. Games from the Monster Hunter series were previously mostly successful in Japan. Monster Hunter: World didn’t hurt the Japanese Capcom, which is also responsible for, for example, the Streetfighter games: in May it turned out to be Capcom’s best-selling game.
