MMD has released the Philips P-Line 439P9H. It is a curved 43.4″ monitor with a VA panel and a resolution of 3840×1200 pixels. It is a smaller variant of the 499P9H, which has a 49″ panel with a resolution of 5120×1440 pixels.

Apart from the size, the appearance of the Philips 439P9H is the same as that of the 499P9H. Like its bigger brother, the new 43.4″ screen has a webcam on the top that is suitable for logging in with Windows Hello. The monitor also has the same built-in USB hub with Ethernet connection, audio output and USB-a ports. To use the hub functionality, the monitor must be connected to a computer or laptop with a USB-C cable.

The screen stands on a foot that is adjustable in height. There are two displayport 1.4 connections and an HDMI 2.0 port.

MMD releases the screen for a suggested retail price of 979 euros. The monitor is in the Pricewatch for just under 900 euros. The larger 499P9H, which also has a higher resolution and has been on sale since the beginning of this year, currently costs about 960 euros.
