Microsoft reports that it is aware of the Xbox Wireless Controller connectivity issues that some users are experiencing and is working to resolve them. A future update should bring improvement.

Microsoft is working on a fix for the controller problems that will be made available in an update, the company reports to The Verge. The company refers to the steps that users must take to update the firmware of their wireless controller.

The answer follows issues that users are reporting with the Xbox Series X wireless controller, which would lose connectivity at random times. The first reports about this already appeared on the Microsoft forum in mid-November last year.

Judging by the notifications, the notifications seem to occur when using the controller with not only the Xbox Series X, but also the Xbox One and PC, and when playing various games, including Assassin’s Creed Valhalla and Call of Duty: Black Ops Cold War. It is not known how widespread the problems are. About 1750 users indicate on Microsoft’s forum that they want to know how to solve the problems.
