Microsoft has made its presentation app Sway suitable for working on the same project with several people at the same time. In addition, the author can easily make a copy of an already created Sway presentation.
Sway, which is part of the Office family, is currently available as a beta product in the browser and as a mobile app. Via the application, photos, videos and text can be placed in an online presentation. Initially, a presentation could only be put together by an author, but Microsoft says in a blog post that Sway has been made suitable for working on a presentation with multiple users at the same time.
The author of a presentation can give others access to a presentation via an ‘edit link’. To prevent users from overwriting each other’s content, Sway displays a co-author’s initials with a “card” that is currently being edited. The original author can also revoke editing rights or make the presentation no longer publicly available. Microsoft has also built a copy option into the updated Sway. This makes it easy to reuse Sway presentations.
