Developer 4A Games brings two Metro games to the Nintendo Switch. This includes the Redux version of Metro: 2033 and Metro: Last Light, including all dlc. The games will be released on February 28.
The developer releases the game as a Redux collection, in which both games are supplied. In addition, the games can also be purchased separately. Both games can be ordered in advance in the Nintendo Eshop for 25 euros each. The developer indicates that no additional downloads are required for the physical editions of the games; both games fit with a dlc on a single 16GB cartridge.
Although the games will not appear on Nintendo’s console until 28 February, gamers can pre-order the games in advance. People who do this receive a double-sided poster and alternative artwork for the cartridge box from select retailers.
There have been rumors for a while about a release of the Metro games on the Switch. For example, an age rating for the games appeared in December on the PEGI website. In addition, there was a mention of Metro Redux in a Portuguese webshop in October, NintendoLife writes.
