Capcom is re-releasing a collection of six old Mega Man games for consoles and PC. The bundle includes the four Mega Man Zero games and two Mega Man ZX games. The collection will be released on Steam and will be available on PlayStation 4, Xbox One and Nintendo Switch.
The original Mega Man Zero games were released for Nintendo’s Game Boy Advance between 2002 and 2005. Mega Man ZX and ZX Advent were released in 2006 and 2007 for the Nintendo DS. Capcom is adding a Casual Scenario Mode to all games, in which players gain stronger powers and take less damage. The games also get a function to make a save point halfway through levels. Furthermore, Capcom refers to the arrival of a Z Chaser mode, about which more will be announced later.
Mega Man ZX and ZX Advent get optional visual filters and different screen layouts. The Legacy Collection also includes bonus content, such as illustrations, and there is a music player where songs from all games can be listened to. In addition, Capcom has made some new music tracks for the old games. The collection will be released on January 21, 2020.
