LG is coming this summer with four different OLED monitors. It concerns two 31.5 “and two 27” screens, all of which have a resolution of 3840×2160 pixels and a 60Hz refresh rate. Two models can self-calibrate.
LG made the announcements during its Digital Partner Forum, Computerbase also writes. The line-up includes the LG UltraFine 32EP950. The company announced this display in January and is now also showing a 27″ variant with similar specifications. Both variants have DisplayHDR 400 True Black certification with a maximum brightness of 540cd/m².
The screens can also display 99 percent of the DCI-P3 and AdobeRGB color spaces. The company further advertises a response time of 1ms. LG provides the screens with a USB-C connection with power delivery up to 90W, two DisplayPort connectors and an HDMI connection. All displays have three USB 3.0 downstream ports.
LG reports that the previously shown 32EP950 will be released in July and will receive a suggested retail price of 3999 euros. The 27 “model will appear this summer. LG does not mention a specific suggested retail price, but German tech site Prad reports that the screen will cost between 3000 and 4000 euros.
The manufacturer also shows the 32BP95E and 27BP95E, which have a 31.5″ and 27″ screen diagonal, respectively. The BP95E models are broadly similar to the two aforementioned monitors. The screens offer the same resolution, refresh rate, color reproduction and maximum brightness. The connections are also the same.
The 32BP95E and 27BP95E do get a sensor that checks the panels for color deviations and automatically calibrates the screens based on those measured values. LG also supplies a shade hood with the BP95E screens and the included monitor stand gets a different, more square design. LG does not mention a concrete release date for these screens, but the monitors should also appear this summer. The suggested retail prices are still unclear.
