LG presents G7 ThinQ smartphone on May 2

LG has announced that it will present the G7 ThinQ smart phone on May 2nd in New York and on May 3rd in Seoul. Based on what is probably official renders, it appears that the new flagship of the South Korean manufacturer gets a notch in the screen.

LG has not yet published specifications, but reports that the addition of the name ‘ThinQ’ stands for the addition of various ai functionalities. The phone will have a camera function that recognizes what the camera is aiming at and thereby selects the optimal camera mode.
The LG G7 ThinQ seems to be compatible with the LG V30S ThinQ for the support of the various ai functionalities. , LG’s recently released 2018 variant of the V30, which does not appear in the Benelux . The V30S ThinQ includes separate commands for Google Assistant to operate the camera with voice. Via the voice assistant, for example, users can order the phone to take a picture with the wide-angle lens.
The website Androidheadlines has published a render of the different color variants of the G7 ThinQ; according to the site, it is an official render that has provided a reliable source. The image shows that the smartphone has a notch in the screen. On the back there are two cameras, with a fingerprint scanner underneath. The V30 has the cameras side by side.
On previously leaked renders was probably already seen the G7 with a notch at the top of the screen. According to telecom insider Evan Blass, the device gets a 6 “screen with a resolution of 1440×3120 pixels and a Qualcomm Snapdragon 845. There are variants with 4GB ram and 64GB storage and with 6GB ram and 128GB storage.The primary camera would have sixteen megapixels, with a f / 1.6 lens.
