LG introduces midrange LG K92 smartphone with 5G support in US

LG has announced the K92 5G. This midrange device has Qualcomm-soc with 5G support and will be released in the US on November 6. It is not yet known when the device will come to Europe.

The LG K92 5G has, among other things, a Snapdragon 690-soc from Qualcomm. This 8nm chip has a Kryo 560 CPU with six efficient A55 cores at 1.7GHz and two faster A77 cores at 2GHz. This soc also has an integrated X51 modem, which supports 5G on sub-6GHz frequencies. The smartphone has 6GB of memory and 128GB of storage capacity.

The manufacturer provides the device with a 6.7 “screen with a resolution of 2400×1080 pixels. LG does not mention a panel type on its website, although GSMArena reports that it is an LCD. The selfie camera is incorporated in a hole in the screen.

The primary camera has a resolution of 64 megapixels. Furthermore, the device has a 5-megapixel camera with wide-angle lens and a macro camera with a resolution of 2 megapixels. The smartphone also has a depth sensor. Furthermore, the device has a fingerprint scanner, which is incorporated in the on / off button. The battery has a capacity of 4000mAh and is charged via USB-C. There is no mention of fast charging.

LG will release the K92 5G in the US on November 6. The device will be available there from various providers, including AT&T and Cricket. Telecom provider UScellular will deliver the device on November 19. GSMArena writes that the price differs per provider; the device costs $ 395 at AT&T. At Cricket, a subsidiary of AT&T, the device costs $ 359.

The producer has not yet reported anything about any availability in Europe. Earlier this year, LG already introduced other smartphones in the K series.
