LG has announced a wide monitor with 21:9 aspect ratio for gamers. The 34-inch screen from the Korean company supports AMD Freesync, which should prevent stuttering in the image during games.

LG has not yet announced the resolution of the 34UM67, but the screen diagonal is 34 inches. LG will demonstrate the 34UM67 during the CES trade show that will take place in Las Vegas at the beginning of January. The LG UltraWide Gaming Monitor offers, among other things, a Black Stabilizer option for illuminating dark parts of the image and the Dynamic Action Sync mode should keep input lag to a minimum.

The support for AMD Freesync ensures that the display and video card or APU with dynamic refresh rate work completely synchronously so that no more tearing occurs and the stuttering that occurs due to the repeating frames in v-sync is prevented. LG has not yet revealed more details about the 34UM67. LG claims to be the market leader in 21:9 screens.

At the CES fair, the manufacturer will also demonstrate the Digital Cinema 4K Monitor 31MU97. This is a screen with a resolution of 4096 x 2160 pixels. The screen could display 99.5 percent of the Adobe color space.
