Keeno and Videoland start digital video store

Online video store Keeno is consulting with his offline colleague Videoland about starting an online DVD rental service. Both companies would like to focus on the digital film distribution together, whereby films can be delivered ‘on demand’. Keeno and Videoland want to start with the rental service from next year and are also holding talks with film studios. The intention is to offer a legal alternative to downloading, but then the distributors must also receive guarantees that the rental system is safe. Since the company Dvd-stream had to postpone its launch due to problems with the hardware supplier, Videoland and Keeno could be the first to operate a streaming rental service with their service.
